Welcome to Hatchloop ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using hatchloop.dev and its tools and APIs (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Hatchloop provides free developer tools including token counters, JWT decoders, JSON formatters, hash generators, and other utilities accessible via browser and REST API. We may add, modify, or remove tools at any time without notice.
2. Use of the Service
You may use the Service for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:
- Use the Service to process sensitive personal data (passwords, financial data, private keys) — our tools are designed for development and testing use
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service in bulk for commercial redistribution
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
3. API Access
We provide a free REST API at hatchloop.dev/api/. The API is provided as-is, with no guaranteed uptime or rate-limit commitments on the free tier. We reserve the right to rate-limit or block abusive access patterns. Pro API subscribers are subject to the terms of their subscription plan.
4. Privacy and Data
All processing in our browser-based tools happens locally in your browser — no input data is transmitted to our servers. API requests are processed server-side and are not stored beyond the duration of the request. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Paid Subscriptions
If you purchase a Hatchloop Pro subscription, your subscription will renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at support@hatchloop.dev within 7 days of a charge for refund requests.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its content are owned by Hatchloop. You retain all rights to any content you process through the Service. We claim no ownership over inputs or outputs of our tools.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate. Use the Service at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hatchloop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
